Teaching & Learning

Provides instruction and research help. The Teaching & Learning Department is comprised of two teams that empower student success by delivering inclusive, discipline-responsive instruction in research and information literacy. Through foundational programs, subject-specialized support, and strong faculty partnerships, we foster academic readiness, engagement, and lifelong learning across the curriculum.

About Us

The Teaching & Learning Department provides instruction and research support to enrich the scholarly experience and success of the University of North Texas students and faculty. The Teaching & Learning department is comprised of two teams that empower student success by delivering inclusive, discipline-responsive instruction in research and information literacy. Through foundational programs, subject-specialized support, and strong faculty partnerships, we foster academic readiness, engagement, and lifelong learning across the curriculum.

Department members are subject experts for academic programs at UNT. The department offers workshops, class visits, and events that promote library skills and student success.
