CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS
Rescuing Texas History Mini-Grants 2024
The Portal to Texas History is a digital gateway to Texas historical and cultural heritage materials belonging to over 500 partners that include museums, libraries, historical societies, government agencies, and colleges throughout Texas. It is largely due to the contributions of our partners, that the Portal has surpassed 2,000,000 items consisting of 36 types of materials including photographs, maps, books, letters, manuscripts, artifacts, and newspapers. These materials date from the fifteenth century to the present. The Portal’s mission is to provide free online access to Texas history materials to be used by researchers, educators, students, and the public.
